Hi, I’m Catalina.
Hi, I’m Catalina.
I’m a clinical health psychologist, specializing in sex and relationships.
I’ve worked as a clinician, professor, and researcher addressing quality of life and encouraging individuals to live fully amidst life’s challenges.
The last 18 years I’ve specialized in psycho-oncology, trying
to understand how to prevent cancer and support those affected cope with it’s burdens after diagnosed. Through this work I witnessed anger, fear, and how unfair life can be. But, I’ve also been awed by resilience, courage and perseverance.
My work in the US and abroad has shaped my lens to value individual unique strengths within the socio-cultural contexts that shape each of our experiences.
